Brian Campbell measured this centre hole to be 13.61 mm East-West and 13.56 mm North-South.

The photo was scaled in AutoCAD according to the measurements supplied.

Despite the above readings as per the photograph supplied, the actual ellipse lies on a 45-degree angle, extending from 315-degrees to 135 (clockwise) and 225 to 45-degrees. The elliptical circle that fits this exaggerated hole snugly is .528" X .54"

The .528" (SW to NE) progression goes:

.528, 1.056, 1.584, 2.112, 2.64, 3.168, 3.696, 4.224, 4.752, 5.28, 5.808, 6.336, 6.864, 7.392, 7.92, etc. The progression advances to generate 130680000' for the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5280' mile navigational system of 24750-miles.

The .54" progression (NW to SE) runs:

.54, 1.08, 1.62, 2.16, 2.7, 3.24, 3.78, 4.32, 4.86, 5.4, 5.94, 6.48, 7.02, 7.56, 8.1, 8.64, etc. The progression advances to generate 972, 1134, 1296, 25920 and ultimately 130636800' or the full equatorial size of the Earth based upon 12 X 12 X 12 X 12 X 1.2 Greek miles of 5250' each (24883.2-miles).

In the above lineup, the value 2160 (years) represents the time the sun spends in each house of the zodiac during the cycle of the Precession of the Equinoxes. Also 2160 cubic inches was the volume of an ancient English bushel. The length of 378' is the half length of the Great Pyramid, whereas 756' is the full design length. Also 97.2-miles would be 1/256th part of the equatorial circumference of the Earth and 12960-years would be half the 25920-year duration of the Precession of the Equinoxes.

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE FIRST OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

In keeping with the theme of a very visibly offset ellipse set at a 45-degree angle, the SW to NE diameter is .567" and the NW to SE length is .590625". The coding in both directions is strongly lunar.

The .567" progression goes:

.567, 1.134, 1.701, 2.268, 2.835, 3.402, 3.969, 4.536, 5.103, 5.67, 6.237, 6.804, etc. The progression goes on to generate 8505, 9072, all the way up to the equatorial circumference of the Earth @ 130636800'.

Essentially, this is a lunar code to provide incremental values through to the end of the 6804-day lunar nutation cycle. For example, the sum of 567-days would be 1/12th of the cycle

The .590625" progression runs:

.590625, 1.18125, 1.771875, 2.3625, 2.953125, 3.54375, 4.134375, 4.725, 5.315625, 5.90625, 6.496875, 7.0875, 7.678125, 8.26875, 8.859375, 9.45, etc. The formula for calculating a solar month, as found upon the druidic Calendar of Coligny bronze plaque was 1890 ÷ 63 = 30-days. The formula for finding the duration of a lunar month was 1890 ÷ 64 = 29.53125-days.

.590625" in diameter or 189/320ths. It is a very dynamic lunar code and will generate all of the essential values for lunar months, lunar years, extending through the duration of the 6804 day lunar nutation cycle. The Khafre Pyramid of Egypt was built to be 15/16ths the length of the Great Pyramid. Therefore 756' ÷ 16 = 47.25 X 15 = 708.75'. Half this base length = 354.375 and, in days, this represents 1 lunar year. But the Khafre Pyramid was also built according to the 3,4,5 triangle principle, used by builders since time immemorial for achieving perfect squaring. Half the base length was 354.375' (the 3 aspect), the vertical height was 472.5' (the 4 aspect) and the slope length diagonal was 590.625'.

The half value of 590.625' is 295.3125 and there are 29.53125-days in a lunar month (29 & 17/32nds) to a tolerance of under 1-minute. The height aspect of the Khafre Pyramid (472.5') would be (in days) 16-lunar months and the hypotenuse diagonal faces (590.625') would encode 20-lunar months.

The SW to NE diameter is .6075" and the NW to SE diameter is .63"

The .6075" progression runs:

.6075, 1.215, 1.8225, 2.43, 3.0375, 3.645, 4.2525, 4.86, 5.4675, 6.075, 6.6825, 7.29, etc. The progression goes on to generate 850.5, 972, 1701, 3402, 6804 and ultimately 130636800'. the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system of navigation.

The progression is essentially a lunar one, generating numbers important to the 6804-day lunar nutation cycle, simultaneously to divisions of the Earth.

The .63" progression runs:

.63, 1.26, 1.89, 2.52, 3.15, 3.78, 4.41, 5.04, 5.67, 6.3, 6.93, 7.56, 8.19, 8.82, 9.45, 10.08, 10.71, 11.34, 11.97, 12.6, 13.23, 13.86, 14.49, 15.12, 15.75, 16.38, 17.01, etc.

These values relate simultaneously to navigational and lunar-cycle coding. The Greek foot was 12.6" and the Greek/Hebrew reed was 126" or 10.5 English feet. The Assyrian cubit @ 25.2" was 2 Greek feet. The values 189, 378 & 756 were the quarter, half and full lengths of the Great Pyramid. The sum of 100.8' represented 1-second of equatorial arc. A "foot" measurement identified to Herodotus by Egyptian priests was 11.34" (of which here were 800 in the length of the pyramid). The sum of 1701-days would equate to 1/4th of the 6804-day lunar nutation cycle. The value 3.15 was one of the forms of PI used in certain calculations and the Sarsen Circle inner rim (based upon one of the cross-measures @ 100') is coding PI and half of a Greek long stadia (630'). As mentioned, the other cross-measure was 100.8' or 1-second of arc.

The SW to NE diameter is .66" and the NW to SE diameter is .6804".

The .66" progression runs:

.66, 1.32, 1.98, 2.64, 3.3, 3.96, 4.62, 5.28, 5.94, 6.6, 7.26, 7.92, 8.58, 9.24, 9.9, 10.56, etc. The progression advances to 5280, 5940, 7920, 16500, and ultimately to 130680000' for the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the English mile of 5280' or Scottish mile of 5940'.

In the above line-up of numbers, 66' would be an ancient English chain, 660' would be a furlong or furrowlong, 5280' an English mile, 5940' a Scottish mile, 16500' an ancient English league (3.125-miles), 16.5' would be a rod or perch (3 ancient fathoms of 5.5') and 7920-miles would be the diameter of the Earth.

The NW to SE diameter is .6804" and the progression runs:

.6804, 1.3608, 2.0412, 2.7216, 3.402, etc. The progression goes on to generate 1701, 54432, 6804, etc.

The progression relates to the 6804-day duration of the Lunar Nutation cycle, wherein the moon goes to lunar major standstill, returns to lunar minor standstill then returns to lunar major standstill again. This duration takes 6798.36-days, but the ancient mathematicians described the cycle in factorable, easily broken down, numbers of 6804-days. Also the sum of 6804 feet is an incremental value within the 130636800' (12 X 12 X 12 X 12 X 1.2 Greek mile) equatorial circumference. Therefore 130636800 ÷ 6804 = 19200.

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

Whereas the preliminary code-bearing ellipse circles on this Face an at a 45-degree angle, they now revert to East-West & North-South like other faces.

The East-West diameter is .9166666" and the progression generated goes:

.9166666, 1.833333, 2.75, 3.66666, 4.5833333, 5.5, 6.4166666, 7.33333, 8.25, etc. The progression goes on to produce 1100, 16500, 24750 and ultimately 130680000' for the equatorial circumference of the Earth.

The progression breaks the value 55 into 1/6th parts and was seemingly used for positional plotting at sea. If one traveled a sea leg of 6300' (10 Greek stadia) then that would translate to 19800' of circumference using PI @ 22/7ths (3.142857). Under this system 1-degree of arc would be read as 55' or 10 ancient fathoms of 5.5' each. Further reducing the 1-degree angle into 6ths would produce 9.166666' for 10-minutes of arc. By this method the navigator, using a scaled rule over the plotting chart, could always stay abreast of the angle back to the point of departure or onwards to the destination when traveling in full legs based upon the 10-stadia value, despite many course changes while tacking back and forth across the leyline on the wind.

The 6300' leg would closely approximate a nautical mile (1-minute of arc ... 6048') under the ancient navigation system adopted by the Greeks.

The North-South diameter is .93312" and the progression that stems from this is:

.93312, 186624, 2.79936, 3.73248, 4.6656, 5.59872, 6.53184, etc.

The ancient weight for the Sumerian/Babylonian Talent was 933120 grains and this related to the equatorial circumference of the Earth in feet. Therefore, 130636800 ÷ 933120 = 140. Likewise, the sum of 186624' = 1/700th of the Equatorial circumference and 653184' = 1/200th of the circuit around the Earth.

This diameter would have been dual read as.9333333 as well to generate values under the English mile navigational system (given in feet). Therefore, 130680000 ÷ 933333.333333 (continuous) = 140. Likewise, 1/700th would be 186666.66666 (continuous) and 1/200th would be 653400'.

DISTANCE TO THE CENTRE TROUGH OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East-West diameter is .96" and the progression produced goes:

.96, 1.92, 2.88, 3.84, 4.8, 5.76, 6.72, 7.68, 8.64, etc.

The East-West width of Stonehenge was set out to be 384'. The distance up the sloping diagonal face of the Great Pyramid from the base to the flat top altar floor was 576'. The sum of 6720' was the Irish mile and there are 19440 Irish miles in the 24883.2 Greek mile equatorial circumference of the Earth (130636800').

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system).

The North-South diameter is .972" and the progression goes:

.972, 1.944, 2.916, 3.888, 4.86, 5.832, 6.804, 7.776, 8.748, 9.72, 10.692, 11.664, 12.636, 13.608, 14.58, 15.552, 16.524, 17.496, 18.468, 19.44, etc.

Again, this string relates to what Julius Caesar said about the druidic preoccupation of lecturing concerning "the magnitude of the Earth and its divisions", in values of 1/2, 1/4, 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nd, 1/64tn, 1/128th, 1/256th, etc. In this line-up the sum of 1555.2-miles would be 1/8th of the 24883.2-mile circumference.

This distance is simply 1 British Standard inch, which isn't necessarily British at all, but has a much older pedigree and origin. It was the universal "inch", used by all of the cousin civilisations that emerged from remotest antiquity through to the AD era and into modern times.

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East -West diameter is, once again, 1 so-called British standard inch.

The North-South diameter is 1.01376" and codes 1-second of equatorial arc under a reading of the Earth's true circumference equating to 12 X 12 X 12 X 12 X 1.2 miles of 5280' each or 131383296'. As stated, this reading is only 18.8-miles short of the modern day accepted value of 24,902-miles.

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East-West distance is 1.0368" and the progression generated goes:

1.0368, 2.0736, 3.1104, 4.1472, 5.184, 6.2208, 7.2576, 8.2944, 9.3312, 10.368, 11.4048, 12.4416, etc. The progression advances to produce 24883.2 which, in miles was the 12 X 12 X 12 X 12 X 1.2 equatorial circumference of the Earth.

In the above line-up, the value 1036.8 (1/24th of 24883.2) tells us how fast the Earth rotates in Miles per hour (MPH). The largest Egyptian Royal cubit was 20.736", the sum of 3110.4-miles would be 1/8th of the equatorial circumference, whereas 12441.6-miles would be 1/2. The value 933120 grains was very important to the Sumerians/Babylonians, as their Talent weight.

A reading of 1.0368" would be 1/20th of the largest Egyptian Royal cubit @ 20.736". The measurement would also have been used for mnemonic recall of the mid-range cubit @ 20.625" and the smallest one @ 20.61818182".

The North-South reading produces 1.066666" and the progression goes:

1.0666666, 2.1333333, 3.2, 4.2666666, 5.333333, 6.4, etc.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system). Note: there was an ancient French foot of 1.066666' (12.8")*.

*The French once used an ancient foot measurement (Pied du Roi or Paris foot ... also used in Quebec), handed down from antiquity, of 1.06666' or 12.8".

From this foot, the ancient French had a Toise measurement of 6 such feet, equaling 6.4 feet of 12-inches. They also had a tradition called the "Lieue de 25 au degré" (25 Leagues per degree of the Earth's circumference). This league is said to have been the slightly drifted value of 2.764-miles, but would be perfect if read as 2.7648-miles. Thereby, 25 such leagues would be 69.12-miles (of 5280') for 1-degree of arc, culminating in a world of 24883.2-miles or 12 X 12 X 12 X 12 X 1.2.

DISTANCE TO THE CENTRE TROUGH OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East-West reading produces 1.0752" and the progression stemming from this is:

1.0752, 2.1504, 3.2256, 4.3008, 5.376, 6.4512, 7.5264, 8.6106, 9.6768, 10.752. The progression advances to the number 6531.84, which then doubles to 13063.6800. The equatorial size of the Earth under the Great Pyramid's coding was 130636800'.

The North-South diameter is 1.1", in deference to the "11" series of navigational increments including the English 5280' mile and the Scottish 5940" mile. The progression goes:

1.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.4, 5.5, etc, leading on to such values as 13.2, 16.5, 17.6, 26.4, 29.7, 35.2, 52.8, 59.4, 70.4, 79.2, 82.5, 165, etc.

The sum of 1320' is a 1/4 of a mile, 1760' is 1/3rd of a mile, 2640' is 1/2 a mile, 5280' an English mile, 2970' is 1/2 an ancient Scottish mile and 5940' a full Scottish mile. The sum of 7920 English miles was the calculated diameter of the Earth and this value X 3.125 (an ancient approximation on PI for this number family) = 24750 English miles for the Equatorial circumference. Similarly, the 5280' mile X 3.125 = 1 ancient English league of 16500'. In other words, there were 7920 leagues in the equatorial circumference, or 22000 Scottish miles.

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC CIRCLE

This diameter, East-West is 1.12" and the progression for this goes:

1.12, 2.24, 3.36, 4.48, 5.6, 6.72, 7.84, 8.96, 10.08, 11.2, 12.32, 13.44, 14.56, 15.68, 16.8, 17.92, 19.04, 20.16, etc. The progression goes on to generate numbers like 22.68, 28 or 30.24.

Based upon older precedents, the English ton was 2240 pounds (lbs) or 20 hundredweight (cwt) of 112 lbs each. In the English pound weight there are 16 ounces of 437.5 grains each or 7000 grains total. In the English stone weight there are 224 ounces. The value 100.8' would be 1-second of equatorial arc, whereas 2016' would be 1/3rd of 1-minute of arc and 3024' 1/2 a minute of arc under the Great Pyramid base perimeter system.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system). The 130636800' circumference ÷ 112 = 1166400 (Note: the Roman foot was 11.664").

The North-South diameter is 8" ÷ 7 = 1.142857" (1 & 1/7th). There were many calculations to make in all of the number families, including "7".

The druidic artisans introduced a new variation to their normal modus operandi by setting out the hole and inner elliptical circles on a 45-degree angle. This remained true until the inner rim of the 2nd outwards concentric ring, where the elliptical circle revered to East-West & North-South. Again, the coded diameters, based upon ancient mathematical progression numbers, fit the circuits with few overshoots or shortfalls.
